The new summer season is strongly under the spell of Africa. The designer shows demonstrate this in a festival of patterns, colours and fabrics, the authentic design of which is not inferior to the originals. Leading them all are Michael Kors and Donna Karan, who combine the Africa topic with modern casual wear and feminine glamour silhouettes. Ethno patterns in batik and tribal style also decorate caftans, overalls and dresses with Bottega Veneta, Burberry Prorsum and A.F. Vandevorst. Matching these is a large choice of accessories in handmade look, especially wooden jewellery and leather goods with high quality reptile prints.
