Rusticality and sportivity are absolute musts for winter 2011/12. It is a mixture of expedition, Canadian roughness and the familiar Scandinavian folklore “knitted patterns”. Chunky structures, voluminous knits, hardwearing finished surfaces, corduroy, leather, lambskin and natural denim form the basis. It is layered and wildly mixed. Functionality has the highest priority. Casual in its original form comes to the fore. Contrasts are also important here from natural wool, cotton in a vintage look and techno qualities.
